“I was raised out in the country and spent a lot of time with my grandfather, working the ranch life -- fixing fences, working cattle and just enjoying being outside. I remember him taking me to morning mass every weekend. We’d go to the Spanish speaking mass…so speaking, listening to Spanish to me started at a young age – even though I’d consider Spanish my second language. My wife and I weren't able to have our own kids, but we have many nieces and nephews to enjoy spending time with. Community and family have always meant a lot to me. I have captained over 10 Emergency Response Teams (ERT) here at Lowe’s. We would travel from Texas all the way to Mississippi (or wherever our Lowe's family needed help) to recover after storms, floods, or weather events.
