Important Information Regarding Kelsey-Seybold Medical Group in Houston

Kelsey-Seybold Medical Group, PLLC (Kelsey-Seybold) recently notified us that it will no longer participate in our Blue Essentials^SM network as of Dec. 31, 2017. In an effort to avoid confusing our members during open enrollment season, and in response to Kelsey-Seybold soliciting our customers, we have moved the termination date up to Sept. 30, 2017. Approximately 1,474 members will be affected.

Kelsey-Seybold is a multi-specialty clinic with 20 locations in the Houston metropolitan area. It continues to have an ambitious and costly expansion agenda. The services provided at Kelsey-Seybold can be provided by other high-quality doctors in the area without creating an undue hardship on our members.

Members can contact Customer Service at the number on their member ID card with questions or use our Provider Finder^® tool to get up-to-date listings of in-network providers.
