December 2016 Enroll Now Through AvailityTM for Electronic Payment and Remittance Options Did you know providers can enroll and make necessary changes to the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) set up through the Availity Web portal? Effective Jan. 1, 2017, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) EFT and ERA enrollment process will be available online only, through Availity. The online EFT and ERA enrollment process through Availity can be completed in near real-time, without the inconvenience of downloading and faxing or mailing paper enrollment forms. Once your organization is enrolled for ERA, providers and billing services gain the ability to use the Availity Remittance Viewer. This online tool permits users to search, view, save and print remittance information, even if the ERA is delivered to an appointed receiver.
