Blue Access MobileSM Is Now Improved

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) has improved its Blue Access Mobile website to increase the number of important tools and resources members can access while on the go. The improvements give members a mobile connection to many of the vital coverage details found on Blue Access for MembersSM, including the ability to:

  • Review plan information. In addition to medical benefits, members now can view other benefit information (if applicable) such as dental, pharmacy, spending summaries and more.
  • Request ID cards. Blue Access Mobile already lists a member’s employer group number, effective date and member service phone number. Now members can request new ID cards when unable to access a computer.
  • Check claims details. Members can see how much was paid by the plan, network discounts, billed amounts and how much they may owe. This information is now just a tap away.
  • Find help when it’s needed. Using the Message Center feature, members can now send a note to customer service and receive news and updates in their inbox.

These are just a few of the features available in Blue Access Mobile. Log in and find what you need today.

Note: Groups without Blue Access for Members (BAM) access will not be able to use mobile BAM, e.g., Labor Accounts. Mobile BAM is also not available to MAPD, Medicare Part D and Medicaid members.
