New Functionality and Enhancements Added to Blue Access for EmployersSM

As of March 16, 2013, employer groups can access new enhancements to the Blue Access for Employers (BAE) site.

Enhancements include:

  • Allowing employers to print a temporary ID letter for members with a cancel date within 45 days of the current date.
     
  • The option to add a business phone number, home phone number and email address have been added to the pages below for employees:
    • View Personal Details
    • Personal Details Print screen
  • Help Center: Both the Blue Access for Employers Reference Guide and FAQs have been updated. 
  • Online Payment: On the “Add New Bank Account Profile and Modify Bank Account Profile” screen, added 'First Auto Pay Date' for ASO customers.
     
  • Online Payment Pay Bills: If customers choose to exit the Online Payment process without submitting their payment, then a prompt will display to confirm they would like to proceed with exiting without submitting a payment.
     
  • ASO Billing Pages: These pages have been updated to contain the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) logo on the print screen:
    • Invoice Adjustments
    • Claim Summary
    • Claim Coverage Summary
    • Associations
    • Admin Rates
