Small Group Renewal Letters [Group Markets]

Effective with December 2009 small group renewals, you and your clients will see a new look to the Small Group Renewal letters. These changes are being made in response to requests from our customers and producers for more information regarding our renewal actions.

The enhancements made to the renewal letter are:

  • Rate Exhibits have been created for the health and/or non-health plan(s) being renewed.
  • The Renewal Exhibit for health and/or dental plan(s) includes the number of contracts and a calculation of the premium by plan.
  • The Renewal Exhibit for the health plan(s) will also show the renewal premium change and will include a listing and description of the factors that contributed to the health renewal premium change.

All other information that you are accustomed to seeing in the renewal letter has remained the same.

For your convenience and to familiarize you with the new look of the renewal letter, samples of the current and new letters are attached.
