Now producers, small employer groups (2-150) and members can complete their initial Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois enrollment online via a secure Web site.

Membership, reporting and administrative transactions are quick and easy with Blue Access® for Employers. Now you and your clients can enjoy these advantages of using Small Group Online Enrollment:

Employees who enroll using the online tool experience similar advantages:
  • Enrolling online is easier and faster than a paper application. Employees select their health plan and enter their personal and medical information, including:
    • Name, birth date and Social Security number
    • Medical information – such as any diagnosis, treatment or medications – that may be needed
  • Enrolling online is convenient. Employees can enroll at work or at home, complete the enrollment all at once or save and finish it later.
  • Enrolling online gives employees peace of mind. They can review their enrollment information to make sure it is correct and complete, and print a copy for their records. After they submit their completed enrollment, they’ll receive an e-mail confirmation.
  • Enrolling online helps employees manage their health and their health care benefits. Starting on the first day of the group’s coverage, through Blue Access® for Members, they can:
    • Print a temporary ID
    • Explore health and wellness information and resources
    • Check their coverage and dependent information
    • Review claims and more
